Genel Energy’s core assets are located in one of the last great frontiers of global energy – the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Our oil producing fields of Taq Taq and Tawke have currently-estimated gross proven and probable (2P) reserves of 803 million barrels of oil (bbls) and proven, probable and possible reserves of 1.2 bbls. 

Cash balances at the end of 2015 stood at c.$455 million, with net debt of c.$239 million, providing us with the financial firepower to pursue our stated strategy.
